Virgin Mobile, 7-Eleven Sued Over Cell Phone Patent

Law360, New York (April 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Emsat Advanced Geo-Location Technology LLC and a patent licensee have launched a suit against a range of companies, accusing Virgin Mobile USA LP, 7-Eleven Inc., toy company MGA Entertainment Inc. and six others of infringing patents covering enhanced 911 services in cell phones.
