Claims Pared In Patent Suit V. GM, Ford, Others

Law360, New York (April 14, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Automotive Technologies International Inc., a research company specializing in auto safety products, has dropped one of its four patent infringement claims and opted not to add another in a suit against several major automakers.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed a joint stipulation and order of dismissal Monday between ATI and General Motors, Nissan North America, Ford Motor Co., Volvo, Hyundai Motor America, Mercedes-Benz USA and Fuji Heavy Industries USA, the makers of Subaru.
