Belkin Settles CSIRO Wi-Fi Patent Claims

Law360, New York (May 04, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Belkin Corp. has settled with Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization over a wireless local area network patent, ending a long-running suit between the technology company and Australia’s national research organization.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on Friday to an agreed motion to dismiss all claims between Belkin and CSIRO without prejudice. The court will retain jurisdiction over the case to enforce the terms of settlement, which were not disclosed.
