Temp Attorneys Boon For Some, Liability For Others

Law360, New York (May 14, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Law firms have long turned to temporary attorneys for help when a large matter comes along, and some legal experts say temps represent a good value likely to be in higher demand as corporate clients seek better cost solutions.

Others, however, question whether temporary help is the best option, suggesting it might be better to keep the work with existing employees who have a proven track record and know the ins and outs of the firm. But that largely depends on whether they can afford it....
