Keep It Real On Litigation Budgets: In-House Counsel

Law360, New York (June 09, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Litigation may be expensive, but it's not entirely unpredictable. Corporate law departments are turning to litigation budgets to drive efficiency and cut down on one thing that's sure to cause them trouble: a surprise.

“The cardinal rule for us is that we don't like surprises,” said Doug Klint, executive vice president and general counsel at Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Taser International Inc.
