Law360, New York (December 04, 2009, 4:23 PM ET) -- Making good on its promise to do away with lockstep pay for associates, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP has unveiled the firm’s new three-tiered associate salary structure and given the legal industry a model for reform.
Recognizing that associate attorneys advance at different speeds and harbor varying career objectives, starting in 2010 Orrick will filter associates into three categories — associates, managing associates and senior associates.
