Head Corporate Attorney At Apple Resigns

Law360, New York (January 15, 2010, 7:25 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. head corporate lawyer Charles Charnas has broken ranks with the technology giant, on the heels of the departure of ex-general counsel Daniel Cooperman, who brought Charnas into the fold.

If Charnas — whose last day at Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple was Jan. 4 — wasn't Cooperman's first marquee addition to the Apple legal team, he was "close to the first," said Martha Fay Africa, a California-based partner at attorney search firm Major Lindsey & Africa.
