Citizens United Weakens Court Independence: O'Connor

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 6:38 PM ET) -- Former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor has said the high court's recent decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission is a “threat to our judicial independence,” taking her former colleagues to task for allowing money to flow freely into judicial elections.
