Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 6:44 PM ET) -- New Jersey-based McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP and Connecticut-based Pepe & Hazard LLP are joining forces, the firms said Monday.
The firms — which will collectively take the McElroy Deutsch name — have been in merger talks since the summer, and the full integration is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2010.
The merger will create a firm of 300 attorneys, headquartered in McElroy's home base of Morristown, N.J., with eight additional offices snaking down the Northeast corridor from Boston to Philadelphia,...
