Law360, New York (May 06, 2010, 5:10 PM ET) -- London-based SJ Berwin LLP has reportedly shifted its attentions in its quest for a U.S. partnership from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP to Proskauer Rose LLP, after preliminary discussions with Orrick fell through earlier in the week.
The two firms met in New York at some point this week to discuss the possibility of a merger, The Lawyer reported Thursday.
The discussions are “still in at the very early stages,” one source told the publication.
