Law360, New York (January 06, 2011, 8:14 PM ET) -- Despite months of discussions, Reed Smith LLP and Thompson & Knight LLP have decided not to move forward with a potential merger, the firms said Thursday.
The two firms, which had conducted due diligence on a possible combination over the last few months, said they had ended talks on a deal prior to pitching the matter to each firm’s partnership for a vote.
