Law360, New York (May 25, 2011, 8:39 PM ET) -- University of California, Berkeley, law professor Goodwin Liu asked President Barack Obama on Wednesday to withdraw his candidacy for a Ninth Circuit seat less than a week after Senate Republicans filibustered his nomination and branded him a liberal judicial activist.
