Firms Say Websites, Blogging Spark Branding Efforts

Law360, New York (August 09, 2011, 7:32 PM ET) -- Law firms see branding as a way to stay competitive in a weak economy, relaunching websites and increasing the use of blogs and other marketing communications to showcase expertise in particular fields, according to a new report.

About 25 percent of firms have revised their branding strategy in the past year, and 7.4 percent said branding was the biggest challenge they faced, according to the Benchmarking Law Firm Marketing and Business Development Strategies 2011 report from The BTI Consulting Group Inc. (Wellesley, Mass.)
