Law360, Los Angeles (May 29, 2012, 7:38 PM ET) -- Baker & McKenzie LLP was one of several law firms Tuesday that said it had scooped up former Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP lawyers and staff following Dewey's recent bankruptcy filing, adding that it had also opened a new office in Johannesburg.
Baker & McKenzie appeared to be the largest beneficiary immediately following Dewey's collapse, snagging 16 lawyers and 15 professional staff from Dewey's South Africa-based office.
