US Senate Panel Quizzes Western NY Judge About Politics

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 3:36 PM ET) -- A Monroe County judge nominated for the federal bench in western New York told a U.S. Senate panel on Wednesday that politics has "no role whatsoever" in the work of a judge, in a closely watched hearing that came after the full Senate blocked the previous candidate.
