Davis Polk Settles $63M NYC Rent Fight With Landlord

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 5:00 PM ET) -- Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP has settled a $63 million rent dispute with its Manhattan landlord a month before the two sides were set to head to arbitration and and will stay in its New York headquarters, according to documents made public Monday.

Stipulations of discontinuance filed in two related cases between the law firm and Lexington Operating Partners LLC end the dispute on undisclosed terms, and require each party to pay their own legal costs. The settlement comes just two weeks after New York state...
