Pa. Judge Must Pay $180K For Defrauding Ex-Client: Panel

Law360, Philadelphia (September 07, 2012, 3:32 PM ET) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court reinstated $180,000 in punitive damages against a Philadelphia judge, finding that a trial court judge erred in chopping an award granted when a jury found that he defrauded a legal client by transferring real estate prior to his election to the judiciary.
