Pa. Traffic Court Judge Suspended After Fraud Indictment

Law360, Philadelphia (September 14, 2012, 7:12 PM ET) -- Philadelphia Traffic Court Judge Robert Mulgrew was suspended Friday, a day after being indicted for his role in an alleged scheme to defraud a Pennsylvania economic development agency.

The Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline issued a per curium order suspending Judge Mulgrew with pay on Friday. Meanwhile, the court’s chief counsel filed a petition seeking an interim suspension without pay while the government's case against Judge Mulgrew unfolds.
