Law360, Los Angeles (March 04, 2013, 7:28 PM ET) -- A contract attorney hit Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and legal staffing agency Providus with a putative class action in New York federal court Monday, saying contract attorneys shouldn't be exempt from overtime pay.
William Henig filed suit against the 600-lawyer firm and the staffing agency through which he got his job on behalf of all of their contract attorneys in New York, alleging that he and others who worked more than 40 hours per week were wrongly denied overtime pay.
