Obama Names 8 Federal Judge Nominees

Law360, Los Angeles (September 20, 2013, 10:04 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama on Thursday announced eight nominees to fill vacant federal judgeships, including several federal prosecutors and a former Baker & McKenzie LLP attorney who got the nod to serve in California. 

Among Obama's nominees is Cynthia Ann Bashant, who was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
