NJ Senate Sets Hearing For Christie High Court Nominee

Law360, New York (October 01, 2013, 3:46 PM ET) -- The New Jersey Senate has long feuded with Gov. Chris Christie over the makeup of the state Supreme Court, but Democratic leaders announced Tuesday that it will give his most recent nominee a hearing in just a few weeks.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will convene on Oct. 17 to consider the nomination of Judge Faustino Fernandez-Vina, according to Senate President Steve Sweeney and state Sen.
