Texas Chief Justice Resigns, Joins Alexander Dubose

Law360, New York (October 2, 2013, 2:45 PM ET) -- Former Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court Wallace B. Jefferson is joining the Austin office of Alexander Dubose & Townsend LLP, which will take on the name Alexander Dubose Jefferson & Townsend LLP, the appellate boutique law firm announced Wednesday.

Jefferson, who stepped down from his position as chief justice on Tuesday, will be accompanied in his move to the firm by Rachel Ekery, his staff attorney for more than 10 years. Both Jefferson and Ekery will join the firm as partners on Nov. 18....
