Texas High Court To Hear Legal Recruiter's Web Post Battle

Law360, Houston (December 13, 2013, 3:53 PM ET) -- The Texas Supreme Court agreed Friday to hear a legal recruiter’s argument that his former employer should be forced to remove allegedly defamatory Internet postings accusing him of bribing an associate at K&L Gates LLP to hire a candidate he represented.

On Jan. 9, the high court will hear Robert Kinney’s argument for a permanent injunction against BCG Attorney Search Inc., which a trial court and the Third District Court of Appeals found to be an impermissible restraint of free speech under the Texas Constitution....
