Law360, New York (October 21, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- In-house counsel has responded to billowing economic stresses by keeping outside counsel on a tighter leash in terms of both budget and expectations, a new survey from the Association of Corporate Counsel and Serengeti Law has found.
The survey, released Tuesday at the ACC's annual conference in Seattle, reveals new insight into the essential, if sometimes stressful, relationship between law firms and in-house legal departments. The survey is a compilation of responses from more than 330 in-house counsel from a range of companies.
