Law360, New York (October 31, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Most of the top law firms are providing lawyers with key training to retain existing clients and pull in new ones that could put them in a better position to head off a drop in business amid an economic slump.
BTI Consulting Group of Boston revealed in a report earlier this year that 85 percent of leading law firms offer business development training to their lawyers. The report said business development tactics include coaching programs, annual retreats and third-party consultants.
