Law360, New York (February 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. legal market has entered a new age of “lawyer mobility,” with attorneys in high-profile, lucrative practices typically moving to more profitable firms, according to a report of an ongoing study conducted by the American Bar Foundation's Law Firms Working Group.
The study looked at more than 14,000 partner moves from January 2000 through December 2005, and found lateral movement increasing during the six-year period.
