Law360, New York (March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The job outlook in the legal industry continued to be murky Thursday, with layoffs at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP totaling 69 and Jenner & Block LLP letting go of 34 staffers.
Katten Muchin confirmed in a statement Thursday that its reductions included 12 associates, seven nonequity partners, four other attorneys, six paralegals and 40 staff members. It called the decision to let them go “very difficult.”
