Greenberg Traurig Slashes Salaries

Law360, New York (April 13, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Greenberg Traurig LLP has joined other firms in decreasing salaries for summer and first-year associates in these uncertain economic times.

The firm said in a statement Monday that it had made changes to the base salary structures in some offices and practices, but left others as they were. Base salaries for first-year associates were generally kept at or within 10 percent of the prior levels, the firm said.
