NJ Supreme Court Upholds $4.5M Vioxx Verdict

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 2:59 PM ET) -- New Jersey's highest court on Tuesday upheld an award of $4.5 million in compensatory damages in a failure-to-warn suit brought by a diabetic man who suffered a heart attack after using Merck & Co. Inc.'s anti-inflammatory prescription drug Vioxx.
