Law360, New York (November 19, 2009, 2:05 PM ET) -- The head of the European Commission's pharmaceutical task force reportedly told drug companies Thursday of plans to ask for details on patent deals with generic-drug makers that are suspected of delaying the entry of cheaper drugs into the market.
"We will ask companies to give a copy of patent settlements between July 2008 to December 2009," the head of the commission's pharmaceutical sector inquiry task force, Dominik Schnichels, said at an industry conference Thursday, Reuters reported.
