New Zealand Reaffirms Ban On "Methods" Patents

Law360, New York (July 11, 2004, 12:00 AM ET) -- In a lawsuit that reaffirms a key principle in New Zealand’s patent policy, Pfizer has lost an appeal seeking a reversal of a High Court decision that the company could not patent a method of treating psychotic disorders using a new compound.
