Purdue Claims Construction Prevails In Embeda IP Suit

Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 4:27 PM ET) -- A federal judge has largely adopted Purdue Pharma LP's proposed claims construction in a declaratory judgment suit brought by King Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Alpharma Inc. — the makers of oral opioid analgesic Embeda — over two Purdue-held patents for tamper-resistant painkiller formulations.
