Law360, New York (February 22, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two drug companies have initiated suits against each other in a dispute over a patent covering cold medicine to treat congestion.
Tiber Laboratories LLC lodged a suit against Cypress Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, alleging infringement of its decongestant patent.
Tiber’s action came a day after Cypress filed for summary judgment in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, claiming it did not infringe Tiber’s patent.
