Bayer Takes License For Homocysteine Assay

Law360, New York (October 25, 2004, 12:00 AM ET) -- A unit of drug maker Bayer Group has agreed to take a license for a technology covering homocysteine assays, following Competitive Technologies’ victory in its five-year patent infringement lawsuit against LabCorp over the same technology.

Under the accord reached, Bayer was granted a license under the Competitive Technologies patent and will pay royalties on sales of Bayer homocysteine assays, the companies said in a joint release.
