Law360, New York (May 15, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Kinetic Concepts Inc. and a division of Wake Forest University went on the warpath Tuesday, filing patent infringement suits against their rivals over vacuum-assisted wound closure technology.
Kinetic, two Kinetic subsidiaries and Wake Forest University Health Sciences filed an amended complaint Tuesday against Smith & Nephew PLC, Smith & Nephew Holdings Inc., Smith & Nephew Inc. and California-based BlueSky Medical Group, which Smith & Nephew announced it had agreed to purchase on May 11.
