Becton Dickinson Sued Over Syringe Patents

Law360, New York (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Retractable Technologies Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Becton Dickinson and Co. accusing the medical technology giant of patent infringement, false advertising and anti-competitive conduct.

The new lawsuit comes as Becton faces consolidated antitrust litigation in New Jersey over its alleged abuse of dominant position in the hypodermic products market.
