Blood Clot Risk May Rise With Some Contraceptives: FDA

Law360, New York (September 27, 2011, 7:47 PM ET) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Monday that birth control pills like Bayer AG's Yaz and Yasmin containing a certain synthetic hormone might make consumers more likely to have blood clots compared to users of other pills, according to a preliminary study.
