Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 12:36 PM ET) -- After recent expansion into London, Sao Paulo and Hong Kong, Proskauer Rose LLP has opened a Beijing office, focusing on private equity and mergers and acquisitions for new and existing Asia-focused clients, the firm announced Thursday.
Five lawyers, including cross-border M&A partner Ying Li and private investment partner Joseph Cha, have moved from the Hong Kong office, and the firm plans to staff up quickly, pulling from both its own global ranks and lateral hires, said Yuval Tal, who heads the firm's Asia practice.
