Stryker, Racing Optics Beat Medical Face Shield Patent Row

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 6:24 PM ET) -- Stryker Corp. and Racing Optics Inc. on Thursday secured a Texas federal jury verdict granting them a victory over medical face shield patent infringement allegations brought by Reaux Medical Industries LLC.

The jury struck down claims that Stryker and Racing Optics infringed Reaux's U.S. Patent Number 7,540,039 by jointly making and selling peel-away laminated face shields for use in medical procedures.
