Baxter Wins $14.2M, Clearing Fresenius To Appeal

Law360, New York (November 08, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A California jury awarded Baxter International Inc. more than $14.2 million in a patent suit over hemodialysis technology initiated by Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. in 2003, a development that clears the way for Fresenius to lodge the appeal it's been mulling since Baxter was granted a new trial in June 2006.
