Law360, New York (September 14, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two separate patent infringement lawsuits brought by Swiss drug maker Novartis against Sun Pharmaceuticals over the Alzheimer drug Exelon have been consolidated in a New York federal court.
Novartis first sued the Indian generic maker in August 2004 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, asserting one of its two patents for the Alzheimer’s drug. That suit was later transferred to the Southern District of New York.
