Pfizer To Submit PCB Cleanup Plan To EPA

Law360, New York (August 28, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Pfizer Inc. has said that it will submit a “high-level plan” next week to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to address the cleanup of dangerous chemicals released when a dam broke at the company's Vigo County, Ind., facility.

On June 7, during some of the Indiana county's worst flooding in 95 years, waters passing through Pfizer's three-acre containment pond carried with them sediment containing polychlorinated biphenyls, Pfizer reported.
