Deals Rumor Mill: Dell, Hansoh Pharma, Dalian Wanda

By Benjamin Horney (January 5, 2016, 5:37 PM EST) -- Dell Inc. is exploring a sale of IT outsourcing services unit Perot Systems, according to a Monday report from tech news site Re/code, and a deal could be worth upward of $4 billion. According to the report, French tech firm Atos is the front-runner, having placed a bid worth between $4.2 billion and $4.3 billion. India's Tata Consultancy Services is also vying to buy the unit, with other previous prospective suitors, including Cognizant Technology Solutions and NTT Data, apparently taking their hats out of the ring. Proceeds from the deal could go toward helping Dell pay off some of the debt it has said it will raise to aid its $67 billion buyout of EMC Corp....
