Law360, New York (December 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The European Union’s antitrust watchdog pushed back the deadline for its review of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.'s proposed multibillion-dollar takeover of generic-drug rival Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Tuesday.
The European Commission extended its inspection of the proposed merger from Dec. 8 to Dec. 22 as it takes a look at remedies to mitigate potential risks to competition, according to the EC’s daily list of mergers under review.
