Nintendo, Hillcrest Put End To Suit Over Wii Remotes

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 5:46 PM ET) -- Nintendo Co. Ltd. and Hillcrest Laboratories Inc. have finalized a deal to end more than a year of litigation over the remote control devices for Nintendo’s hugely popular Wii video game system.

Judge Roger Titus of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland signed off Friday on a dismissal for all claims in the lawsuit Hillcrest filed in 2008 alleging that Nintendo’s Wii remotes infringed its patents.
