Law360, New York (June 03, 2010, 11:31 AM ET) -- A bank-rate website operator has added AOL Inc., The New York Times Co., Dow Jones & Co Inc. and several other major media outlets as defendants in a $1.5 billion suit alleging widespread price-fixing in the online bank-rate market.
Scarsdale, N.Y.-based BanxCorp lodged an amended complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, targeting eight new companies in a suit that already accused LendingTree LLC of conspiring with competitors to keep prices uniform and allocate market share.
