Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 1:47 PM ET) -- Affiliates of Warner Music Group are seeking $75 million in copyright infringement damages from an online porn company, saying RK Netmedia Inc.'s use of its songs in hardcore porn videos tarnishes the music and diminishes its value.
The lawsuit, filed July 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, said RK's videos have used recordings by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Puff Daddy, Rihanna and others without Warner's permission.
