Law360, New York (January 12, 2011, 8:46 PM ET) -- Arent Fox LLP has called for a federal antitrust investigation into college football's Bowl Championship Series, claiming the system shuts out nearly half of college teams from competition and harms millions of fans.
The firm submitted a report to the U.S. Department of Justice aiming to dispel 22 apparent myths about the BCS, chief among them that the organization's championship system is fair and legal. The report was publicly released on Jan. 4.
