Insurer Tries To Sidestep EA Antitrust Action Coverage

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 6:34 PM ET) -- Great Divide Insurance Co. on Tuesday joined the line of insurers seeking to bust into a suit to duck coverage for underlying antitrust class actions against Electronic Arts Inc. and The College Licensing Co. over their use of athletes' likenesses in video games.

The insurer filed an intervenor complaint in a suit originally launched by National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and The Insurance Co. of the State of Pennsylvania in California federal court in October.
