Texas Officials Ask High Court To Review Cable Franchise Law

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 5:24 PM ET) -- Texas officials asked the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this month to reconsider a Texas state law that allows new cable providers to bypass the process of negotiating with individual municipalities, arguing the Fifth Circuit did not give the state a fair chance to defend the law.
